Rahul Dravid has spent the most minutes at crease in Test Cricket
Throughout his 16-year Test career, Dravid possessed the unmatchable ability of being at the crease for long time. In his 164 Tests, he managed to stay at the crease for 44,152 minutes. His longest Test innings came against Pakistan at Rawalpindi in 2004. In that match, he hung around for 740 minutes (twelve and a half hours approx.) and aggregated 270 runs off 495 balls with 34 boundaries and a six.
This record of Dravid, alongwith his record of facing the most number of balls in Test Cricket is expected to stay for a long time because all the other featuring in this list except Shivnarine Chanderpaul have retired.
It's actually great to see Rahul Dravid hold such records because it takes extreme mental toughness and character to create such kind of records, which in fact can't be broken easily.
